Customer Reported Pothole Cases
Please note, pothole cases do not directly correlate to pothole defects because duplicate cases may be raised for one pothole and not all cases meet the intervention level to be a pothole defect.
Details on intervention levels can be found within ESCC's Inspection Manual and Investigatory Matrix.

Pothole Defects Repaired
* Whilst the amount of rain we have experienced since the start of the year has increased the number of potholes forming on our roads, standing water and wet conditions have limited our ability to carry out repairs at the same rate. To help manage these challenges, East Sussex Highways (ESH) put in a number of proactive measures in place to ensure the network remains safe and serviceable. These included additional repair crews and targeted inspections for high-risk routes and locations, along-side alternative repair techniques and materials.
