Important Update
From 2 April 2024 we will be introducing our new system to process the below licence applications:
- Scaffold
- Skips
- Hoarding
- Plant
- MEWPS, Cranes, Cherry Pickers
- S184- Vehicle dropped kerbs
All other licences will follow in due course.
On first application you will need to create a customer account. If you are a business, you can add multiple users to your one account.
The new system will improve the experience for applying and tracking your licence applications, with a few key points below:
- You will be able to view all pending/active and expired licences within your account.
- You will only need to upload your Public Liability documents to your account annually as the system will hold the expiry dates.
- You can apply for multiple licences and pay upon check-out at the end. This means all applications will revert back to requiring payment on submission.
Payments
Payments must be made on application or when contacted. Licences will not be issued without payment being received.
Payments made via our on line system may not process due to ‘pop ups blocked’ being auto enabled on your device. Should your payment become delayed in the system and show as ‘processing, please wait’ you will need to access the settings in your device and disable the ‘pop up block’ in order to proceed within the secure payment page. You may then enable ‘pop ups block’ again should you wish.
Dropped Kerbs
From 2 April 2024 the process of applying for a dropped kerb has changed. It is now a two phase process outlined below:
- Phase 1 - Vehicle crossover application to be completed by the homeowner
- Phase 2 - Vehicle crossover construction to be comepleted by the approved contractor
If you wish to apply for a new dropped kerb or to make alterations to an existing crossover, a phase 1 vehicle crossover application must be made. Please read through all of the guidance and criteria notes before completing your application.
Tables and Chairs/Traders
