Temporary pothole repairs
We always aim to fix potholes right first time within 28 days of inspection. But sometimes, a temporary repair is the safest and smartest option.
Here are some reasons why:
- The road might have a deeper problem that we need to investigate further
- The weather might be too wet or cold for the repair materials to work.
- We might need to close part of the road to fix it safely.
- We might need special materials that we have to order.
- We might have a big repair project planned for later, so it makes sense to include the permanent fix in that.
No matter what, we will make sure the area is safe and come back later to complete a permanent repair.
