High Friction Surfacing (HFS) works were recently carried out on The Dicker on the A22, Hailsham.
The scheme included resurfacing and the installation of high friction surfacing at key locations to improve skid resistance and road safety.
To manage traffic safely while works were underway, the road remained open with temporary traffic lights in place between Coldharbour Way and Thompsons Cottage, we also worked overnight to minimise disruption to road users.
These improvements form part of our ongoing programme to maintain the county’s road network and reduce the risk of collisions for all road users.
