We recently completed signage installation on Beachy Head Road, Eastbourne as part of ongoing highway safety improvements.
The works took place between the Beachy Head Pub and Birling Gap and included the installation of new warning signs and posts, alongside refreshed road markings.
The updated signage and lining are intended to provide clearer information for drivers and help improve safety along this coastal route. These improvements form part of wider maintenance and safety works across the network.
To reduce disruption, the works were carried out overnight, with access maintained for residents and emergency services throughout the scheme, and on‑site traffic management was in place to support local access.
