In 2025, we have proudly dedicated almost 3,000 volunteer hours to local projects, environmental initiatives, and sustainability innovations—that's nearly 125 days!
We also invested in education and employment opportunities, offering apprenticeships, graduate roles, and placements for underrepresented groups, including care leavers and ex-offenders.
Through career events and school outreach, we inspired future talent, while community projects like litter-picking along the Cuckoo Trail and continuing our work with the Crisp Packet Project in Hastings brought people together.
These initiatives reflect our belief that a highways service can do more than maintain roads—it can help build stronger, greener, and more inclusive communities.
