In October, we hosted two engagement events with local Parish and Town Councils.
‘The Road Ahead: Highways Uncovered’ dove into topics on asset management, gritting operations, winter maintenance strategies, and the vital role of accurate weather forecasting.
We also took a deep dive into the world of problem reporting - where every issue raised by residents is logged and assessed by our dedicated Highway Stewards. Hearing directly from our Highway Stewards, Drainage Team, and Operations Manager, real-life examples of how local voices lead to investigations, repairs, and meaningful improvements across our highways were shared and discussed.
