We recently spent some time volunteering at Polegate Jubilee Nature Reserve, providing our staff with the chance to give back to their community.
With biodiversity as their main aim, this council-owned and managed reserve not only improves the local environment but also serves as a fantastic habitat for wildlife.
The day began with a safety briefing and included the following tasks:
- Dispersal of woodchips to refresh the pathways
- Building woodpiles to create habitats for wildlife
- Giving the equipment shed a fresh coat of paint
- Clearing and replanting vegetation for better access Special thanks to Chaffins for supplying the woodchips used in our efforts!
Additionally, a second team took part in a litter-picking session in Polegate Recreation Ground, showing our commitment to maintaining and improving our community spaces.
