Junction improvement works at Albert Road, Hastings have recently been completed.
The team experienced a number of complications onsite, including concrete reinforced with steel bars slowing down the dig, however work was completed ahead of the Easter weekend. The carriageway at the junction has been resurfaced, as well as a section of the promenade, and the permanent traffic signals have been replaced. Whilst they were being switched on and the temporary signals were removed, the project team carried out a beach clean nearby to ensure the area was left looking clean and tidy.
