A damaged boundary wall at the Eastbourne Household Waste and Recycling Site on St. Phillips Avenue has been successfully rebuilt after tree roots caused it to shift over time.
Our team carefully removed only the roots affecting the wall, allowing the tree to remain in place while restoring the structure, and installed a specialist barrier to stop the roots regrowing towards the wall.
The work was planned during the school holidays and managed with temporary two-way traffic lights to reduce disruption to road users.
Thank you for your patience while we undertook these repairs.
