From 1 September, we'll be upgrading the Denton Corner area around Mount Road, Avis Road, Seaford Road and The Drove, helping to create faster bus journeys, safer crossings and improved facilities.

- New bus shelters and live travel information
- Upgraded traffic signals and street lighting
- Road, footway and drainage improvements
To make this happen, there will be some temporary traffic management and changes to the way you travel through the area while we work. We'll be carrying out the scheme in phases to help keep disruption to a minimum.
We know roadworks can be disruptive, but the end result will be a safer, more accessible and better-connected Newhaven for years to come.
Local businesses will remain open as usual throughout the works.
