Map of works area

Map of works area

We will soon be returning to Lashbrooks Road, Uckfield, to finish our work to improve the footway between numbers 1 and 71. We had to stop our work last year due to unsuitable weather.

When does work restart?

We will be returning on Monday 17 March and it will take up to five days to finish our work, which will include putting the top layer on the footpath.

The team will be working during the day, between 8am and 4pm. We will inform you of any changes to the dates or times via advanced warning signs on site.

How will this impact highway users?

The team will be working between the junction with Rocks Park Road and the end of the cul-de-sac leading to Calvert Road, as well as outside numbers 9 and 51, and the entrance to Rocks Park Primary School.

The road will remain open with minimal disruption to motorists while the work is completed. If you’re using the footway, please take care when passing the working area, and follow any signs.

Information for residents and businesses

Parking: We will put out ‘no parking’ signs and cones on the site to advise where parking is restricted. Please avoid parking in these locations as it may delay our works.

Weather: All of these works are subject to favourable weather conditions, for example heavy rain may affect the progress of the works.

There may be some noise while we carry out our work, we’ll be doing what we can to keep this to a minimum. You may also see some flashing lights or hear reversing sirens.
