Balfour Beatty is working in partnership with East Sussex County Council to manage the highways service across East Sussex. As part of this, we will be carrying out drainage works in Church Street, Old Heathfield.
When do they start?
Works will start on Tuesday 22 August 2023 and continue for three days.
How will this impact highway users?
Church Street will be closed to through traffic from Weaversbrook Lane to Church Lane between 9am and 4pm each day. A diversion route will be in place via Weaversbrook Lane, Sandy Cross Lane, Hailsham Road, Tower Street, Burwash Road, Battle Road, Church Street and vice versa.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Should you require vehicle access during the closure, please discuss this with the team on site.
